This short course is designed to give COLL 100/150 instructors context about students' first-year experience, the specific goals of COLL 100 and 150 courses, and designing and implementing effective, supportive writing and communication assessments.  

Although this course can be taken as a stand-alone experience, your learning experience will be amplified if it is paired with the in-person workshop offered by the Center for the Liberal Arts.
